Here we are introducing two ways of installing DEB files.

1. Easy way: autoinstall DEB files

SSH into your iDevice, (How To?) or use iFunbox, to put the DEB file in this location: /var/root/Media/Cydia/AutoInstall (If there is no any folders, create it)

Then reboot your iDevice for twice. Done!

2. Geek way

Put the DEB file in the file system somewhere you like, and SSH into your iDevice, run: dpkg -i /path/to/the/DEBfile

Then Respring. Done

iFile is also really good but it doesn't have a respring option. at the.moment ifile isn't working on iOS 7.... but this second thing definetly works... install via command line:

Place it in var/root In terminal type dpkg -i var/root/WinterBoardxxxx.deb <--(application name here, as it shows on deb file)

There hasnt been an official update to ifile but it does work if you have the deb file. The only thing that doesnt work is the license check so licenses cant be validated. But I have been using it to install debs and copy stuff around on ios7.

Based on the devs twitter the official update should be soon.

Hey guys.. Dont wanna be the first one here to sound retarded but.. How do I install Deb thru ifile alone? No pc, ssh, mobile terminal. My problem is, whenever I try to delete or add a directory, ifile gives me an "unable to delete" or "unable to change permission" error. To add to the injury, my cydia is also corrupted. =(

You arent retarded :) These are common issues, and I am here to help you.

Step 1- Download and Install iFunBox - http://dl.i-funbox.com/

Step 2 - Make sure you have installed afc2add tweak in Cydia

Step 3 - Connect your Device to your Computer

Step 4 - Open iFunBox and let it recognise your Device.

Step 5 - Go click the Tab "iFun Box Classic" on top.

Step 6 - From the left side panel, Click "Cydia App Install" option.

Step 7 - From your PC/Mac , drag your .deb file/s to the file explorer box on the right of the panel.

Step 8 - Restart your device for Cydia to install the .deb Application.

Step 9 - Repeat step 8 and restart your device again to make the apps usable!

After the second restart, your .deb App that you installed should be working. Congrats!

I hope this works. Let me know!
