My Time Warner Cable app used to work.  It allowed me to view cable when away from home.  But now it says "TWC TC is not supported on jailbroken devices.  Please restore your IOS device to factory defaults, then reinstall TWC TV.

Disturbing to say the least.  Should we be concerned that an app can determine whether or not an IOS device has been jailbroken?  Ne1 ideas how to get around this?

Ne1?  How is TWC able to detect Jailbroken devices, and no one else can?

basically those apps just detect some common Jailbreak factors, like Cyida app on your phone.
