I have had this problem mainly on my iPad Air 2

If you click on Cydia and it attempts to open and then crashes, what you need to do is this,

Turn device off, then hold power button and the volume up button, when the apple logo shows release the power button BUT KEEP HOLD OF VOLUME UP BUTTON until your device boots to main screen then slide to open and then release the volume button, Cydia should now open and you can delete the Cydia app that cause the crash

I have done this but didn't delete the app and I have managed to install more Cydia apps and used the restart springboard and it loads up, I haven't attempted to shut down my iPad Air 2

So really the choice is yours as I'm waiting for a fix for this to test

In my first attempt Cydia crashes after jailbreak in iOS 9.0.2.
I just restore my device to factory settings. And jailbreak again. It's running flawlessly now no more crashes.
