@tt_wj does it remove meta data so our email isn't in it? Or do we have to do it ourselves? @hotsjf

seems the dev wanna keep Clutch as a dumping tool, so those info is left behind

but right now, RastiClutch is having some bugs too

so for now, I suggest use Clutch2 RC8 to crack, and strip those info out by yourself.

I receive AwesomeBob's warning with RastiClutch v2.0.2 as well. I've set permissions to 777 for all RastiClutch, Clutch and Clutch2 RC8, yet the warning for the non-existing files/folders is there. However it doesn't affect the end result. The cracked IPAs work just fine upon testing.

if you see this bug it's definitely NOT OKAY. This means that the cracked executables/frameworks are not being replaced in the IPA. Should be fixed (again) in v2.0.3

Update: RastiClutch v2.0.3

Changelog

  • Proper extraction of directory from Clutch's output
  • Doesn't pack SC_Info anymore

I am using iOS 8.4 and I receive the same error with the difference the output file at /tmp/clutch_output has only the following line:

is iOS 8 application listing method brah

Both Clutch and Clutch2 are installed and I have updated rasticlutch to v2.0.3

@BWEL

you have to have Clutch 2.0RC8 installed. looks like you have Clutch 1.4.7-2
Clutch 2.0RC8 must be named "Clutch" not "Clutch2".
the "C" is capital letter

Yes that worked out. I was keep both Clutch and Clutch2 installed. Now that I removed Clutch and renamed Clutch2 to just Clutch with capital C everything worked out just fine.

RastiClutch requires clutch to be named "Clutch"

clutch binaries should be Clutch and not Clutch2.
considering Clutch1 does not sign apps properly after iOS8 it should be removed.

Rclutch works well however it changes the email BUT does not delete the original purchasers name.
this can be viewed in iTunes by looking at the app info->details

I think Clutch2 doesn't delete those info either, right?

You guys need to manually remove those now?

@Zorro

so you are confirming that Clutch20rc8 removes ownership data?
RastiCrack does same, however why would RastiClutch not remove the data being a mix of Clutch + RastiCrack?
I guess @tt_wj has to look into that
