First Appcake Download and theres a problem :(

Best Answer Pepperami , 01 August 2016 - 06:06 AM

well it seems I have cured it myself :)

If anyone else has the problem, my fix was simple

Completely restored iPhone on a clean 9.3.3 install, no backup used

Install the Jailbreak (mine doesn't ask for APPLE ID or Password!)

Install the Cydia repo for Appsync Unified from Karens page ONLY

https://cydia.angelxwind.net/

(MIND THE 'S' its httpS)

I then installed Appcake, and now TomTom works :)

Hey guys

Ok I really wanted to get TomTom on the iPhone, so I downloaded the UK & Ireland release, and then got the following error

Cant stat/private/var/installd/library/caches/com.apple.mobile.installd.staging/temp.0wdm9r/tomtomukireland_1.223_326067542.ipa: Permission denied

What have I done wrong please or whats the problem??

I have the Appsync Unified installed, so not sure whats going on, any help appreciated

Cheers!!

Chris

Looks like appcake doesn't have enough permission to install the app

did you install the Stashing tweak?

I just did that, and it apparently changed my password, so not my iPhone is completely bugged.
