what happen if you just tap the 'Install' to install?

also, make sure there is no tweaks on your Jailbreak phone that will block ADs or anything.

it's 100% some of your tweaks messed it up

Hey guys,

Been a lurker for awhile but have to check if this error is common.

In the app, after pressing GET for a download, the ad gets played but when the X appears in the corner and you press it the screen goes black and it never ends. The screen is on, just totally black and the only way to get it to work is to restart the app.

Any ideas? I have the latest AppCake and Ipad 7th jailbroken on 13.2.2.

Correct, VPN Proxy with adblock was the reason.

I came here from a Google search on AppCake + “black screen”.

I upgraded an iPad to iOS 13.3 and jailbroke it with unc0ver 4.3.1. Installed AppSync Unified 74.0 and that’s it. No other tweaks so far.

Installed AppCake and I get the same black screen issue after the 30-second ad finishes if I click on “Get”. No ad blocker, no tweaks period. Only way to install is to select the app and click on Install on its own page.

I think most people see this error are jailbroken, and I think it's related to the jb and the AD itself. Really don't have a solution
