Hi, I've got the same issue as this person: https://forum.iphone...ad-cache-issue/

I've restored from an iTunes backup, and when I jailbroke again, I cannot install the previous apps, as it says "Open" instead of "Install." I am not sure where to clear the cache.

@4741308 plz try downloading the cracks through pc and install via ifunbox or itools... once installed, delete the cracks if you want from device or through ifunbox/itools. that will clear the cache and you should use appcake like before ;)

I tried to do that, however, I can install the apps but they won't open. It worked fine when I used appcake before the restore.

@4741308 hmm, ok. strange things happen :D

also reinstalling appcake and appsync will maybe solve the problem?! never had that issue :/

i can only think that in your backup were files from the cracked ones apps and they now have been "manifested" in your system. also maybe you must go deeper in solution, open the backup(i don't know the program now that can do it..., but google will help you) and delete the "backup cracked apps", but that can cause another problem and your backup will be faulty, idk... maybe another people have an idea here

and then you say: "however, I can install the apps but they won't open"

Hey, sorry for the confusion. When I say I can install the apps, those apps I download from this website and install them from ifunbox, however they open and instantly crash. I might have found a solution to this though, still figuring it out.

Thanks for your help.

Only some apps won't open when installing from ifunbox by the way, everything is fine now.
