Most apps on AppCake are not cracked correctly for iOS 11 64-bit. Anyone have a good guide for cracking IPAs yourself?

Some games and apps from AppCake have been cracked with the latest updated cracking tools but others are not. As a result, most apps will not install correctly.

I’m looking for a guide to do this on Windows or the iPhone itself. I’m also not sure if I can just resign an app that was already cracked. Any help would be appreciated.

Brother I would object to "most apps", especially user_hidden does a great job in providing iOS 11/12-compatible key apps. I am always looking out for his releases, as the others are not compatible, resp. the releasers only prepare them for iOS 10. Not interested in games, so I guess my experience is much better. #justmy2cents

Id say most app work for ios 11
if one doesnt maybe mention the name of that specific app also check on its appcake page for when the ipa was actually uploaded could have been cracked years ago. And try requesting update for it if it was a long time ago

if you would take the time to look around the forum or even use the search function all of your questions would be answered.

You need to look what has happened in the last few days since a reliable cracking tool has been released 95%+ of all apps are now Ios 11 compatible as they are tested or should be tested by the cracker before submitting any you see that are not report the app

Hey, guys! I don't know where to post my problem, so I'll try to write here.

First, yesterday I reported a faulty crack for SoundHound app here https://forum.iphone...by-user-hidden/

The cracker-admin said that the problem is on my side. I'm not sure about that. For example, SoundHound v8.9 (that been cracked earlier) works fine for me. SoundHound v8.9.1 (newly cracked) is not working - crashing at start. Exactly the same happens with every newly cracked app.

Second, the problem is: all newly cracked apps in the last few days (or a bit more) are not working on my iOS 10. No matter what cracker has done it, I tried every version by all crackers. I have iPad 4 (32 bit), iOS 10.3.3, h3lix semi-tethered jailbreak, AppSync Unified and AFC2 are installed. I never had any problems with any cracked apps from AppCake in the past, until now... It seems like the problem is in the new cracking software, that crackers are using last few days. Some incompatibility with 32 bit devices? =(

Third, I'm not really sure what means that new orange/green icons by the left side of download button - http://puu.sh/BQNcz.png. Green means it is okay for iOS11, and orange means it isn't okay for iOS10, am I right?

Fourth, I noticed that all newly cracked apps in the last few days are not containing files "iTunesArtwork" and "iTunesMetadata.plist", so the AppStore can't detect these apps like "installed". In other words, when I update such cracked app without iTunesMetadata.plist inside to the latest version, the AppStore saying that this app still need to be updated. When I install such app, the AppStore saying that this app not even installed. This is not the big deal, but it leads to mess with updates in future: It will be really hard to understand what apps are really need to be updated and what are updated already. For example, again, SoundHound v8.9 contains iTunesMetadata.plist and detected by AppStore like "installed". SoundHound v8.9.1 doesn't have iTunesMetadata.plist inside and AppStore showing it like "need to be updated".

Sorry for this long-read post. Thanks.

that is your problem, 32bit devices will not function properly anymore with most cracked apps.

32bit compatible cracks will usually have rc336, rc337 or rc337uh in the app filename itself.
those are files downloaded from links posted here on the forum.
if using the appcake app you would not see the original filenames.

Sounds really sad. So, it turns out that I can't use AppCake's cracked apps anymore? All crackers here will use in future only that new cracking tool that not supporting 32 bit devices? =( I wonder if there is some universal cracking soultion for 32 and 64 bit devices.

Looks like the only solution is to buy a new iDevice. Damn, that's expensive.

some new will work and others won't, that is unfortunately the fate of 32bit devices.

now as for new cracks here is one example
Trance X = https://www.iphoneca...292002579_.html
if you click on the link above it will show you the links available for download.
as of now myself and @ Ghay have posted links.
i guarantee you that that the link i posted will work on your device and the link Ghay posted will not.

for compatibility always look at my links if available and if the download file has "rc337uh" in it's ipa name it will work on your device

Yep I do not crack specifically for 32 bit devices anymore very little call for it. As 32 bit not supported anymore I would suggest u update device to 64 bit

Just tried your version of app and version of Ghay. Last one crashes at start, like you said. Your version works and also contains "iTunesMetadata.plist" inside, so the AppStore detects it like "installed". That is how it use to be.

The question is: why crackers can't continue to use the good old cracking tools? Is there any issue with 64 bit devices and/or with iOS11? If so, this is weird, because 64 bit devices came to market long time ago (starting from iPhone 5s and iPad Air). I doubt that all this time owners of these (and newer) devices couldn't install apps from AppCake. Why all crackers suddenly changed cracking tool? I don't get it.

iOS 11 changed everything.
32bit devices are NOT iOS 10 or 11 compatible.
less and less apps released/updated from appstore are either for os10+ or os11+.
iOS 9 and below are dead to the appstore prety much as time continues

You will find a lot of crackers who posted it no longer crack apps as no longer worth the time and effort for them they did just for $

32bit devices are NOT iOS 10 or 11 compatible.

It is not quite true. iOS 10 is compatible with 32 bit devices. I have iPad 4 and old unused iPhone 5c (both 32 bit) with iOS 10.3.3. But I think I got the idea: crackers had changed cracking tools due to iOS 11 compatibility on 64 bit devices. And those good old tools can't provide such compatibility. Am I right?

But here's the thing. First jailbreak for iOS 11 was released in February-March 2018. So, it turns out that all this time starting from March until now, iOS 11 users couldn't install AppCake's cracked apps?

One more question. Is there any way to crack and upload apps for both 32 bit and 64 bit platforms separately? Like in your example above with Trance X app. One link is for 32 bit compatible version, another link is for to 64 bit compatible version. Or it is not worth time spent?

Sad story, anyways. Looks like it's time to buy iPad Pro =)

@ ChoJJa yeah, time goes by, crackers have to go with ios, you will not use any of the apps next year, cause of greater ios compatibility... some crackers still crack with "old" software, so you can have a look for them ;)

i have to go through, too. that good old times, ahhh  8)

time to buy new device or wait till you cant even use apps cause your device is "to old"

enjoy your stay here

So, is there a possibiliy that an older game cracked here with a new method, would be incopatible with 10.3.3 ?(iPhone 5 32 bits).
Recently a little game called Espgaluda 2 (it's a release from 2013) was removed from AppStore before i got the chance to purchase it [i was saving it for being a Christmass present :(]. I tried all 3 versions from AppCake and none of them work (the game instanly crashes to homescreen after a second) while any other game i tried from here works well.

Could someone shed some light? Thanks a lot!
