If a app uploaded on App Cake is crashing on launch, what can I do? The cracker hasn't been online for half a year and all of the other people who cracked previous versions are also MIA. The app in question is Caustic, found here. Thanks!

when you report an issue we require the following.

Device
Firmware
JB yes/no
JB type

I've also been experiencing a lot of crashes lately, as it seems that several applications cracked for iOS 12, on my devices with iOS 11.3.1 (iPhone 6/8, Electra), crash upon launch. Previous versions work fine. For example:

Crashreporter and Cr4shed don't provide any log. What I did already try:

- Reboot and rejailbreak;
- Resigning the app binaries with ldid2;
- Completely delete the application and its data folder via SSH and reinstall;
- Several iCleaner runs.

I'm experiencing the same issues on both my phones with 11.3.1 AND an iPad 5 (11.2, Unc0ver) that I've borrowed. I don't have any intrusive tweak installed, plus I don't have any issue with several other apps.

nope, if crack works on os12 it'll work on os11, as long as minimum os versions are compatible.

i can not comment on any of the files that you mentioned as they are not mine and i'm not downloading them to check, sorry.

I usually install the ipa files with Filza after sideloading them through ssh/scp. I've also tried appinst directly from a terminal (which is actually what Filza uses if I'm not mistaken) without success - it doesn't return any error, but the apps won't launch.

 

I'm positive I've installed the official AppSync package.

 

(Edit: I'm in no way, shape or form criticizing you and the others who dedicate their skills and hard work to the users. I'm absolutely grateful for all of that. It's just that I've been trying to solve this issue for hours and I admit it's quite irking)
