Appcake 6 Issues and Help

Hey yall,

I have this weird problem.

All apps I try to download are failing and in the downloaded section is say the app is 166bites.

I hope someone have the solution to this matter. I tried every setting in AppCake 6 but all I get are the 166bites shitfiles....

All 3 my devices doing the same.

iPhone X
iPhone 8S Plus
iPhone 7S Plus

Iam having the exact same problem.
After i hit “get version” and “install”, it says app download not possible.

Download with Appcake, but don't try installing with Appcake if all you get is incomplete files and messages like "can't download" and whatnot.

Install with Filza instead, both apps share the same Downloaded and Imported folders anyway.

is there an export ipa function like in Appcake 5?

install appsync again from our repo

 

 

ive installed the appsync from your repo after uninstalling the appsync from karens

 

on iphone x 12.1, apps download, install, and crash. this has always happened, except for a few apps... the only apps ive gotten to open after installing were jodel++ and sleep cycle

 

is it an ipa, appsync, or appcake issue? thanks

Is there a way to go back to the previous version of appcake before version 6.1.1 as that version was working perfectly and the downloaded apps were getting installed and with the latest version the apps download then they get resigned and then you get the install pop up and after selecting install the app just sits there greyed out on the homescreen and it doesn’t get installed which was not the case with the previous version and the version before that also had this same problem. I am running appcake on iPhone 6S Plus with uncover for ios 12.1.1.

I did...but apps still do not install. Can you revert back to the previous version for a day and I can install that and will ignore the future updates?

Updated to new appcake 6.1.2 but there is a problem with this too. Now when you download an app it says download started but the app does not show up under the file manager downloading section.
The app does get downloaded though as the problem is that it doesn’t show up while it is downloading under the file manager downloading section and just shows up after the download is complete under the file manager downloaded section.
Still after resigning the app it asks to install and the app logo shows up on the homescreen greyed out like its waiting to install but nothing. If I click on that greyed out app logo I get a pop up saying unable to install and then I just delete it.

Same problem here. Apps in downloading don't show progress in 'downloading' section, though they'll still show up in 'downloaded' section once the download is finished. I'm using the latest version (6.1.2) of AppCake on iPad mini 4 iOS 10.3.3. Hope this can be fixed. Thanks!

I think I should dispel all the negativity from my original post and say AppCake 4 does its job, I've tried different apps and for the most part, it works. It does have issues and is definitely not better than AppCake 5 ( R.I.P needs 5000$ a month to properly function ; _ ; ), but it does its work for the most part.

Latest appcake 6 version

When I tap the get vX.XX the app crashes and does not begin downloading.
After closing the app from switcher then reopening the app still apears crashes.
After reopening the second time or waiting it worked but crashes when attempting download.

about not showing in Downloading, you can try to swipe back and forth between downloading/downloaded

for ipad crashes, we can't test much, because I don't have that much test device now. will check it later.

Appcake 6 on Cydia says it's now compatibles with iPhone and iPads running iOS 10.x to 12 yet it crashes instantly when launched. Any help ?

@ hotsjf , I've tried swiping between downloading/downloaded in AppCake 6.1.2 on my iPad mini 4 IOS 10.3.3. And I have tried deleting the /var/mobile/containers/data/application and var/mobile/documents/AppCake and reinstalled the AppCake 6. But it still doesn't work. Anyway I need to thank you for what you have done. I can use AppCake 4 instead.
