If you iPhone 7 is water damaged so first of all you need to remove your case and sim card tray if water is trapped. After that just wipe down each and every part of your phone (i.e, charging port, headphone jack, sim card tray, etc. ). The next step is the most important step that is keep your phone in a dry place and and let it air for as long as possible without turning it on. If your phone still not working and if its in warranty then go to authorised Apple service center or else if your phone is not in warranty and if you want to take risk, then dismantle your iPhone and leave it to dry its interiors.
