This is one of my biggest gripes with the implementation of the long press menu on non-3D touch devices. To open an app, you tap it. To activate the haptic touch menu, you have to press and hold. To activate the app “wiggle”, you have to press and hold even longer. But the haptic touch menu is too slow to appear.
I think this is a little bit too awkward to use. Sometimes it registers as a tap, and sometimes I hold it too long and activate the app wiggle. Just seems slightly unintuitive to me.
