Hi guys

AppCake just updated to v4.85, and it works on iOS 8.x Jailbreak.

Here is how to get Cracked Apps on iOS 8.x!

Note: If you got any problem with using AppCake, read the FAQ section in the bottom of this tutorial

=== Method 1 ===
*** if you already have Cydia installed on your iOS 8 Jailbreak device, you can install AppCake from our repo:

cydia.iphonecake.com

If you don't see the icon after install, reboot your device.

AppSync for iOS 8:

AppSync Unified for iOS 8 is released, and stable now. You can find it in our repo, or angelxwind repo, they are identical.

FAQ:

Q. I got error code -999 when installing IPA files
A. First try reboot your phone, and try install that IPA file again. If you still can't install, make sure you installed the AppSync Unified from angelxwind repo or our reop. then reboot and install IPA file again. One last solution, try remove Cydia Substrate, disable touch ID and passcode and reboot, install the IPA file again.

Q. After install AppCake from your repo, I don't see the icon on my springboard.
A. Try to reboot your device. it's the Cydia bug on iOS 8.
if still not shown, go to cydia make sure AppCake is in the Installed section, then SSH into your device, run this command: su -c uicache mobile
then reboot.

Q. I got boot loop after installing AppCake
A. AppCake can not cause any bricked phone or boot loop, it's mostly because the Pangu jailbreak and the Cydia Substrate, try remove Substrate and reboot. Or hold the Volume Up button when reboot.

Q. When will AppCake release ppsync free version?
A. When AppSync Unified is out of BETA and stable.

Q. You have concerns about how AppCake works on iOS 8?
A. Read the description of AppCake in Cydia of our repo, it will tell you more.

=== Method 2 ===
If you didn't install Cydia (those early Pangu8 1.0 Jailbreakers), no worries, you don't need Cydia :) Follow these steps to manually install:

Appcake didn't appear for me after installing it with Cydia.
So I ran the ssh command "su -c uicache mobile" then did a reboot.

My phone gets stuck on reboot and won't start up.

that's not due to AppCake, that might be you updated to Pangu 0,2 and installed Cydia Substrate?

Try hold the Volume Up button while you reboot, and uninstall any conflict tweaks

The latest Cydia Substrate 0.9.5015, has issues with AppCake it seems.

If you cannot install apps through AppCake, temporarily remove Cydia Substrate (along with any plugin that requires substrate), reboot and re-install any ipa. It should work then.

You can freely install Cydia Substrate after removing it and rebooting. Apps should install fine from then on.
