I got a used iPhone 4, but it's got the iCloud lock and the seller won't help me.
I've tried a number of methods to bypass this, but they all failed. Here's what I tried so far:
  • iPhone 4 Hacktivate tool / Deleting setup.app via RAMTool and ssh client
I can go through all steps, but at the end the iPhone gets stuck in a bootloop and I have to restore the IPSW via iTunes.
  • Geeksn0w
Halfway through the process, the phone gets stuck in recovery mode ("connect to iTunes" screen) and won't continue. Have to restore an IPSW
  • redsn0w
    "Exploit failed"
  • Ultrabreak
Cannot find any working download link
  • Evasion7
Cannot find any download link of this either
I still didn't try the downgrade method, since first, I fear that if that succeeds, once I update again it will lock again, and second, all download links are dead.

Can someone help me?

I've tried that method, but of course it won't work with my phone, it just goes into a bootloop
