Is it safe to use online methods to download cydia?

There are a lot of methods to download cydia even without jailbreaking. Like online methods. These jailbreaking methods does not really considered as a jailbreaking because it will not avoid the device warrenty. So using this kind of method is safe? Can we really get the result that we wanted?
